WALES have been given a favourable opening match to kick off their 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign with a home game against Azerbaijan on Saturday, September 6.
But they face a tough away trip to recent conquerors of England, Russia, who they play four days later.
They are back at home to take on minnows Liechtenstein on Saturday, October 11, before they face another daunting midweek away match when they travel to Germany on October 15.
There is a break of five months before Wales have another Saturday home match when Finland visit on March, 28, 2009.
Four days later they host the mighty Germans on Wednesday, April 1.
There is a two-month break before Wales head east to play Azerbaijan on Saturday, June 6.
The next game is Russia's visit on Wednesday, September 9.
Wales then finish their campaign with two away matches against Finland on Saturday, October 10 and Liechtenstein on Wednesday, October 14.
