NEWPORT County manager Peter Beadle believes his side's encounter with Havant and Waterlooville tomorrow comes at, "either the very best or very worst time," following the Hampshire outfit's FA Cup heroics.
Havant, 12th in the Blue Square South, visit Spytty Park hot on the heels of their extraordinary cup tie with Swansea City which saw them dump the League One leaders out, winning 4-2 on Wednesday night.
The Hawks now face a dream fourth round tie at Anfield against Liverpool and may be forgiven for looking past their next few league opponents, bearing in mind promotion and relegation seem extremely unlikely.
However, Beadle is refusing to second guess how the visitors will approach tomorrow's clash and insists his side are paying no attention to the cup.
He explained: "It is impossible to know how they will play here, but in all likelihood they'll either be very good or very bad.
"It could be the best or the worst time to face them, but we will prepare properly and focus on ourselves.
"I would like to congratulate them though, it was a fabulous result and reflects brilliantly on the Conference South.
"They have a chance to play at Anfield, I played most of my career in the league and I never played there, it's a brilliant opportunity.
"I played at Wembley and White Hart Lane, that is the ground that really counts! But I never played at Anfield and I would have loved to have done so."
Beadle has a few selection headaches after his side performed so well against Torquay United in the FA Trophy last week.
Winger Jason Bowen is fit and returns to the squad, but he may have to settle for a place on the bench if Beadle chooses to replace the suspended Julian Alsop with Jermaine Clarke.
Fellow wide-man Sam O'Sullivan joined Yate on a one-month loan on Monday (along with Shane Brewer) and is not in the squad, but defender Lee Jarman returns from suspension.
However, Beadle has admitted Jarman is likely to miss out after Mark Dodds' excellent performance last weekend.
"Mark did ever so well, I have said players need to perform to earn a place and he certainly did that," he said.
County (Argus predicted team): Thomp-son, Jenkins, Searle, Dodds, Hillier, Bowen, R Evans, Davies, Fowler, Hughes and Griffin Subs: Pennock, Jarman, A Evans, Simpson, and Clarke
