A LATE try from Swansea wing Nicky Jones condemned Newport to their fourth loss of the season at Rodney Parade.
Five penalties from outside half Dan Griffiths had the Black and Ambers, who saw flanker Paul Williams sent off for stamping, in charge until Jones barged his way over in the closing stages.
Swansea were good value for their win with powerful blindside Harbir Singh getting their other score from close range.
