Gwent rivals Croesyceilog and Caerleon are prepared for tough tasks when they take on division one promotion-chasers Bryntirion Athletic and Goytre United respectively in the semi-finals of the Nathaniel League Cup in March.
Croesyceilog, who booked their place in the last four with an injury time winner against former Cup winners Llanwern, travel to Rhiw Dda'r on March 5 to face highly-regarded Bryntirion.
"We know Bryntirion are a good side - they came back from 2-0 down and scored five goals in 15 minutes to beat us 6-2 last year," said joint Croesyceilog manager Chris Evans.
"When we played them in October we had a lot of players working away and a smaller squad. Now we have new players and a good mix of experience and youth.
"We're looking forward to the game, we've got a settled squad and we know we're capable of beating anyone."
High-flying Bryntirion sealed their semi-final spot with a comprehensive 4-0 win at Tredegar Town on January 5.
The Bridgend-based side are fourth in the league and five points off the pace with a game in hand on their promotion rivals while Croesyceilog remain just above the relegation zone despite taking 10 points from a possible 15.
The second semi-final sees Caerleon take on division one leaders Goytre United on March 12 at Station Road.
The Romans overcome Swansea-based West End in the quarter finals while the table toppers dispatched promotion rivals Dinas Powys.
Caerleon haven't faired well against much-fancied Goytre in previous meetings with the Cold Bath Road outfit unable to record a victory in their last six meetings.
Port Talbot-based Goytre, who are chasing a league and cup double, will be looking to go one better than last season when they reached the final of the Shamrock cup and went down to a 1-0 defeat against arch-rivals Afan Lido.
