THERE are 13 Ospreys in Wales' starting XV to play England in their opening RBS 6 Nations Championship match at Twickenham on Saturday.
It breaks the record for the most players from one team to be picked for Wales since Cardiff fielded ten in 1948.
In sharp contrast there are no Newport Gwent Dragons players in the 22-man squad to take on the World Cup finalists.
James Hook gets the nod ahead of Stephen Jones at outside-half.
Dwayne Peel has been unable to recover from a shoulder injury which sees the Ospreys' number two scrum-half Mike Phillips picked to start with Gareth Cooper on the bench.
Gavin Henson plays at 12 while Tom Shanklin is on the bench after Sonny Parker is preferred at outside centre.
Former Dragon Ian Gough has beaten Ospreys rival Ian Evans to the starting number four spot and former Newport player Alix Popham has a place as a sub.
