NEWPORT County boss Peter Beadle insists his side are ready for arguably their biggest game of the season tomorrow.
Hampton and Richmond are the visitors to Spytty Park and they can certainly be described as the surprise package of the campaign.
The London outfit only joined the Blue Square South this season and recently won at leaders Lewes, taking them to third in the league.
However, a home win tomorrow would take the Exiles to within a point of Hampton with a game in hand.
It could be a case of Seven Up, it's cool to be clear' - for County who are currently six unbeaten in the league and beginning to put daylight between themselves and the rest of the playoff hopefuls.
Adding to the intrigue is a desire for revenge for Beadle's charges who lost 1-0 at Hampton in August after conceding a late penalty.
It all adds up to a mouth-watering clash and Beadle insists his boys can win the vital encounter.
He explained: "This is most certainly a big game and one we are all really looking forward too.
"We definitely want to keep our unbeaten run going, I've kept saying for God knows how long that we are capable of going on a very long run.
"We seem to stutter normally after four or five games. We've crossed that bridge now and I want us to really kick on.
"We can be beaten, but at the same token we're capable of beating any team in this league, so if we are right mentally I think we can keep going.
"That's what we'll be looking to do."
Beadle admits the visitors have exceeded all expectations this season, though he's keen to point out a trend at this level of the football pyramid.
"On the one hand they've done brilliantly, a promoted team up in third position reflects brilliantly on them," he said.
"But at the same time, this keeps happening if you think about it.
"Salisbury went up at the first time of asking, Histon did it second time round and this year Hampton and Bath are both flying high.
"I think it's a momentum thing, the same way that most of the teams who lost in the playoffs last year aren't having such a good season this time around."
Beadle welcomes striker Julian Alsop back into his squad, which is fully fit.
The boss watched Shane Brewer and Sam O'Sullivan play for Yate on Tuesday in their 3-2 win over Tim Harris' Gloucester City and had a colleague watching Paul Cochlin in his last game for Cirencester, when he scored the winning goal.
"Cochers is doing great and scoring goals which is useful," he said.
"I watched Sam and Shane and they've now played three games in a week, which is exactly what they needed.
"Shane has settled in quicker and Sam looks like he's lacking match sharpness, but that is exactly why they've gone there."
County (likely): Thompson, Jenkins, Searle, Davies, Dodds, Hillier, Bowen, Fowler, Griffin, Hughes, R Evans Subs: Pennock, Jarman, Simpson, Alsop, Clarke
