WORLD champion Ronnie O’Sullivan treated punters to a perfect night when he headed for Gwent last week.
The 46-year-old, who won at the Crucible for a record-equalling seventh time at the start of the month, played three sold-out events at the Red Triangle Snooker Club in Cross Keys.
Eight players got the chance to go up against the Rocket, who showed his quality with a series of century breaks.
“He managed a 147 on the second night and could have had two more on the first,” said owner and former pro Darren Morgan.
“They were three full houses and it was fantastic to have the world champion back in Wales.”
John Virgo and John Parrott headed to Gwent for the events with legendary Jimmy White set to play an exhibition at the Red Triangle later this year.
