THREE home games, three wins and County are in the play-offs. Sounds simple doesn't it?
Exiles manager Peter Beadle is the man charged with making that dream a reality and he believes his side can make it easy on themselves for once by beating Eastbourne, Thurrock and Fisher at Spytty Park over the next eight days.
"It's a simple equation - if we win all three we're there and nobody can catch us," said Beadle.
"We've performed super-bly over the last few weeks and after the win at Cambridge on Tuesday we're starting to get a bit more confident.
"If we keep winning it keeps it in our own hands and that's what we want - we don't want to be in a situation where we're relying on other results to get into the play-offs."
First up are Eastbourne Borough tomorrow afternoon.
Up until a few weeks ago they looked genuine title contenders but a run of only one win in their last six games has scuppered their hopes of automatic promotion and Beadle says this could be an ideal time to face the south coast outfit.
"They're a very good side but they've had a bit of a rough time with injuries and suspensions recently and that has taken its toll," he said.
"Lewes look as if they're going to win the league now so Eastbourne may already be focussing on the play-offs and might be tempted to rest a few players.
"But we can't worry about their situation. They are still very capable of getting a result here so we've got to be on top of our game."
The County faithful will have a big part to play between now and April 26 and Beadle praised their magnificent contribution to the cause this season.
"The fans have been great all season and particularly on the road in the last two games," he said.
"Whenever they've got behind us from the start they've made a big difference and we'll need their vocal support again in these three games."
Craig Hughes is available for tomorrow's match and Monday night's clash with Thurrock before starting his three-game suspension and he looks set to continue up front with top scorer Charlie Griffin, who is expected to recover from a slight groin strain.
Lee Fowler is still out but could be back in time for the Fisher game.
