THE Newport Gwent Dragons have signed experienced outside-half Shaun Connor from the Ospreys on a two-year deal.
The 32-year-old from Blaina previously played for Abertillery, Ebbw Vale and Newport before joining the Ospreys from Neath in 2003.
A former Abertillery Comprehensive School pupil, Connor represented Wales at A, Under-21 and Sevens level.
Connor has been in fine form for the Ospreys this season but has found himself playing second fiddle to James Hook at No 10 for the big matches.
He has made 97 appearances for the Ospreys and scored 475 points, including nine tries, 44 conversions, 95 penalties and 19 conversions.
Dragons coach Paul Turner said: "We're delighted to bring Shaun back to the region.
"He has matured as a player...his experience will be invaluable to the squad over the next couple of years."
