COUNTY have received a good luck message from Wales manager John Toshack ahead of tomorrow's big game with Fisher.
Just like 12 months ago, County go into the final game of the season knowing that a win will guarantee them a place in the play-offs and keep the dream of playing Conference football alive.
"It was bitterly disappointing for Wrexham to go down to the Conference but if Newport could go up that would be an interesting derby," said Toshack.
"I'd like to see all our clubs doing well and Newport County have been in the doldrums for some considerable time now. I'd love to see them get back to where they were, best of luck to them.
"It would be a good trip to see Wrexham against Newport," he added. "I doubt I'd bump into Fabio Capello there but I'd like to see it happen."
