IT'S been another interesting week for me, being honoured by the Queen with a CBE.
Apparently that stands for Commander of the British Empire, though I had absolutely no idea what it meant when I found out I had got it!
It's obviously a great honour for all the Calzaghe clan and now I just have to work out who to take to Buckingham Palace!
I saw yesterday that Kelly Pavlik's trainer Jack Loew has been mouthing off about me again.
He's already called me a slap-happy Welshman' and now he reckons I am ducking Kelly after my comments in this column last week.
Last week I stated that my preferred option for what I expect to be my last fight is a clash with Roy Jones Jnr.
I also stated that I didn't think Pavlik really wants to fight me.
I absolutely stand by what I wrote; Roy Jones is a legend, a four-weight world champion and one of the biggest names in boxing.
Pavlik has a lot to prove and someone has called him out now, my old foe Mikkel Kessler.
I will tell you what, hand on heart I think Kessler would beat Pavlik.
I admire Pavlik because I enjoy his aggressive style, he's a confrontational fighter, gets forward, gives it plenty of aggression.
But Kessler has that very same ability and far more ring presence and experience.
It's a fight I would pay to watch and I honestly think Kessler would beat Pavlik.
This weekend marks the return to the ring of my stablemate and good friend Bradley Pryce.
Bradley was set to be on my bill in Las Vegas back in April, but was forced to miss the show because of visa complications.
He's had a miserable few months, he's been training for ages without a fight and that spells bad news for his opponent this weekend.
Bradley fights on the undercard of the Amir Khan bill in Birmingham, coming up against Marus Portman, a Midland-based southpaw with an almost identical record to Bradley.
I don't normally do this, but I predict Bradley will win by KO.
For my money Bradley is one of the biggest secrets in boxing at the moment.
He is unquestionably on track for a world title shot; he is unrecognisable from the boy my dad Enzo effectively sacked a few years ago.
I can't make it to Birmingham, but I will be watching the fight on ITV and suggest you check it out, Bradley will produce fireworks.
I am on Jonathan Ross tonight, I wrote this column shortly before filming it and to be honest I was a touch apprehensive. I like Jonathan, I just hope he doesn't do anything that will force me to knock him out!
Finally I just wanted to say well done to the Italians for hammering France to reach the quarter-finals of the European Championships.
I almost backed the Italians to win the tournament at 18-1 just before the France game, frankly I am a bit gutted I didn't do it!
I think Italy have every chance of beating Spain.
For me the Spanish have yet to resolve their frailties in defence and I fancy Luca Toni to come good in the next game.
He's been very unlucky so far not to score and his goals are coming.
Overall I think it has been a fantastic tournament so far.
The standard is absolutely brilliant; almost every game has been worth watching.
I think there are twists and turns still to come, don't write off Turkey or Russia, they just might surprise a few people.
