WALES legend Leigh Halfpenny will add playing in the English Premiership to his incredible rugby CV after signing for Harlequins along with former international teammate Wyn Jones.
Ex-Wales and Lions full-back Halfpenny heads to Twickenham Stoop after playing for the Crusaders in Super Rugby Pacific, when his spell in New Zealand was hindered by injury.
Prop Jones arrives from the Scarlets to provide loosehead competition for the England pair of Joe Marler and Fin Baxter.
Halfpenny started out at Cardiff and won the 2009 Anglo-Welsh Cup and 2010 European Challenge Cup.
The 35-year-old from Gorseinon moved to Toulon in 2014 and won the Champions Cup the following year before returning to Wales with the Scarlets in 2017.
Halfpenny moved to the Crusaders after playing in his third World Cup last year, that after he retired from international rugby with a tally of 101 Wales caps plus four Tests for the Lions.
Now the iconic full-back, who has also played on the wing, is set for a new challenge in the Premiership.

Halfpenny said: "I'm excited to join Quins and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue my career with such an iconic club.
"I have always admired the Premiership and I'm keen to grab this opportunity with both hands and contribute to the Quins DNA. I'm looking forward to getting stuck in and running out in front of a packed Stoop."
Halfpenny will play under former Dragons forwards coach and Cardiff head coach Danny Wilson in London.
"We're thrilled to welcome Leigh to Quins," said Wilson. "His experience speaks for itself, and he will bring plenty of leadership, expertise and high standards to our squad, helping mentor our talented stable of back three players alongside bringing the benefit of his enormous experience to the wider squad.
"He's an incredible athlete, highly skilful and adaptive across multiple positions. We're confident he'll make a strong impact at Quins this season."
He will provide cover at full-back for Tyrone Green while also being an option out wide for Quins, who finished sixth last season.
Jones has won 48 caps for Wales and played one Test for the Lions against South Africa in 2021.
The 32-year-old said: "I'm excited to work with Bomb (Adam Jones, scrum coach) to improve my game and help Quins achieve our objectives this season."
Head coach Wilson added: "We're excited to have Wyn Jones at Quins. He's an experienced and hard-working player who adds significant cover to our front-row. He's a powerful scrummager and strong ball carrier who'll become an integral part of our pack this season."
