NEWPORT Gwent Dragons slumped to defeat to the Scarlets in a woeful Welsh derby in Llanelli.
All Paul Turner's side could muster was a solitary James Arlidge penalty while Rhys Priestland, a late call-up for Wales fly-half Stephen Jones, kicked six penalties for the hosts.
Lock Luke Charteris and scrum-half Wayne Evans were late withdrawals for the Dragons while skipper Tom Willis limped off in the first with a calf problem.
