THE All Blacks will be without two key players for their showdown with Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday evening.
Wing Sitiveni Sivivatu and prop Tony Woodcock were both banned for one week after their 32-19 Bledisloe Cup win over Australia in Tokyo today.
The pair were cited after Sivivatu’s dangerous tackle on Adam Ashley-Cooper earned him a yellow card and Woodcock hit flanker George Smith.
Woodcock’s absence will at least give Wales some relief after their major problems in the front row.
With Adam Jones out after being injured on the Lions tour, Gethin Jenkins is set to play out of position at the tight-head.
Sivivatu, who has scored 26 tries in 40 appearances for New Zealand, scored their first touchdown after some good work involving flanker Richie McCaw.
The All Blacks looked dangerous in both tight and open play during a largely one-sided contest.
Centre Conrad Smith scored their second and Dan Carter ominously kicked 22 points after Wallaby wing Peter Hynes’ first-half try had given them an interval lead.
