FORMER Newport Gwent Dragons and Wales scrum-half Andy Williams has signed for Gloucester from Moseley on a short-term loan deal.
Williams, 28, was released early from his contract by the Dragons in January.
The winner of five Wales caps, Williams arrives at Kingsholm to help the Cherry and Whites over the festive period, acting as cover for Rory Lawson and Dave Lewis.
Williams has previous experience with Bath and the Ospreys and played for Cardiff after leaving Rodney Parade.
He moved to Moseley at the start of the season, agreeing a deal whereby he could leave the club if he gained a Magners League, Guinness Premiership or French Top 14 contract.
