CROSS Keys fell foul of referee Jon Mason as they slipped to a 17-16 defeat to Cardiff at Pandy Park this evening.
Keys had three men sin-binned in the second half as Cardiff, helped by an incredible penalty count against the hosts, fought back after trailing a 13-7 half-time.
Centre Carl Pocock crossed for the Keys while Gareth David kicked eight points.
Dan Godfrey and a penalty try proved to be just enough for the Blue and Blacks.
