NEWPORT County were beaten in the Blue Square South for just the third time this season after being thumped 4-0 by Havant.
A dull and scoreless first half suggested the Exiles weren't at their best, but the champions will still be stunned to have conceded four without reply in the second half.
A brace from Mustafa Tiryaki and further goals from Wes Fogden and Jay Gasson sealing the win.
The defeat means County failed to overtake Grays for most points in a Conference South season (98) or get to the 100 point mark, the Exiles remaining on 97 with two games left to play.
