PREMIER X leaders Marshfield finished their campaign with a 6-1 win against Shaftesbury Youth to amass a total of 55 points. But they will have to wait to see if they have won the championship as K-2 AFC can still overhaul them for the title. The goal scorers for Marshfield were Nicolas Allen (2), Gareth Georgiadis (3), plus an own goal. K-2 continued their winning run with a 4-0 win against third placed Pontnewydd United. Graig-Y-Rhacca finished their season on a low note, going down 2-1 at home to Tredegar Arms. Goals from Craig Collins (3), Luke Crawley, Warwick Drew, Aneurin Oakley and Simon Clarke gave St Julians AFC a 7-0 win against Pill Hibernians.

One point separates the top three clubs in the Premier Y. Albion Rovers hopes of the title were dented after losing 3-2 to Lucas Cwmbran. The Lucas goals came from James Lloyd (2) and Nathan Williams. Goals from Jamie Lewis (2), Rhys Edmunds (2) and Matthew Ryder, gave Cwmbran Celtic a 5-2 win against Villa Dino Christchurch.

This gives Celtic an excellent chance of taking the title as they play Albion at Cwmbran on Saturday. Spencer Boys Club won 2-1 against Newport Corinthians with Gary Tovey and Morgan Roberts scoring.

AC Pontymister won 5-2 at Cromwell Youth with goals from Adam Morris (2), Jamie Lewis, Sean Davies and Matthew Russell. Trethomas Bluebirds and Pill AFC shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Pontnewydd United head Division One after a 3-1 win over AC Pontymister. Second placed Lliswerry beat Sporting Baneswell Social 5-4 with goals from Dimitri Lekkas, Ashton Harrison, Jordan Sutton, James Watson plus an own goal. K-2 seconds won 3-1 away to Ponthir.

There were also wins for Malpas FC against Ty-Sign AFC (4-1) and the Six in Hand against Caerleon Town (4-2). Albion Rovers and Bettws Social Club drew 3-3.

Three teams are in contention for the Division Two title. Leaders Waterfront United won 2-1 against third placed Graig-Y-Rhacca, with Jimmy Parrott and Jodi Campbell scoring. Second placed Oakfield AFC beat County Athletic 4-1 with goals from Luke Roberts (2), Shane Williams and Michael Farr. Two Clifford Bale goals plus an owm goal gave Racing Club Newport a 3-1 win against Cwmbran Celtic. Cwmcarn Athletic won 3-2 against Cromwell Youth with Lewis Pontin, Dale Parry and Chris Parry scoring. Newport Eagles were shot down by Bettws Social Club, losing 3-1. Rogerstone and Marshfield drew 4-4.

St Julians AFC became the first league champions when they secured the Division Three championship with a 4-2 win over Newport Eagles thanks to goals from Dale Crawley (2) and Mark Francis (2). The Saints have dropped only two points all season.

Three goals from Neil Sims (2) and Graham Evans gave The Ferns a 3-1 win against Pill AFC.

Gaer Park Rangers beat Racing Club Newport 5-2. Coed Eva Athletic won 2-1 against Ty-Sign AFC.

The Monmouthshire Building Society Sunday Cup was won by Glan-yr Afon who beat the favourites T.R.W 4-3 with a last minute goal.

In the Sunday League Whitehead Haymakers look like they can claim the title after beating leaders Pavillions 1-0.

St Julians Old Boys won 3-2 against Rogerstone United.

The Docks Cons played twice and won twice against Athletico Allsorts. In the first game they won 4-2, with Stephen Buckley (2), Patrick Carton and Craig Maggs scoring. In the second game they won 7-1 with goals from Patrick Carton (4) and John Shutt (3).

On Tuesday night Bettws Social Club claimed the Villa Dino Plate, winning a penalty shoot out 6-5 after drawing 4-4 with Lliswerry.
