DRAGONS V GLASGOW (Tomorrow 3pm)

EMERGING Newport Gwent Dragons back row forward Toby Faletau has been handed a late opportunity to convince Wales coach Warren Gatland he should be included in the Six Nations squad.

Gatland names the squad within hours of the Dragons and the Scarlets ending their final Heineken Cup pool matches and while he probably knows the players he wants, a last-minute performance could still count.

He is limiting his squad to 30 players or below and given the number of back row forwards available, unlike in the front row, it could be touch and go whether Faletau makes it.

The Tonga-born No 8 was forced out of last week's game at Toulouse because of visa difficulties which prevented him from leaving Bristol Airport along with the rest of the Dragons.

But he returns to the team for tomorrow's Heineken Cup finale against Glasgow at Rodney Parade and one last, late opportunity to convince Gatland and his fellow coaches to pick him.

The 20-year-old was on the Wales bench against Fiji but the game was so tight that Gatland didn't put him on for his first cap.

He is back in the Dragons line-up at the expense of Lewis Evans, who is a bit unlucky to miss out, in one of three changes from last week.

Centre Tom Riley and lock Rob Sidoli, rested against Toulouse, step straight back in.

Neither side can progress to the quarter-finals, though Glasgow have won two of their five pool matches compared with the Dragons' none.

Coach Paul Turner said, "I wasn't surprised by Glasgow's win against Wasps, they're always capable of winning at home and it was a very strong performance.

"Their nine (Colin Gregor) played well, the pack and Alastair Kellock in particular were superb, they have a good set piece and are well coached.

"Their 10 (Ruaridh Jackson) is playing better and they were without some major players in Morrison, Barclay and Evans (still missing tomorrow)."
