NEWPORT Gwent Dragons reached only their second semi-final when a rousing second half performance enabled them to end their six-match losing run against the Scarlets at Rodney Parade on Sunday.
The victory put them into the last four of the LV Cup next month after victoies against Gloucester, Sale and now the Scarlets.
Dragons hero was full back Martyn Thomas, playing his first game at the ground for nine months after his horrific leg injury.
He showed he has lost little of his pace by racing across for two second half tries, lock Luke Charteris barging over for the other.
Matthew Jones followed up his 13 points against Sale last week with 11 more through three penalties and conversion.
"This means a lot to us and we'll give it everything," said assistant coach Darren Edwards.
