NEWLY appointed acting Newport Gwent Dragons head coach Darren Edwards’ young Wales Under-20s charges recorded an excellent victory in Stirling tonight.

Head coach of the Wales Under-20s side, Edwards’ men blew the Scots away in a devastating second half performance, scoring five tries during the victory.

Dragons and Newport scrum-half Jonathan Evans was the sole Gwent representative and partnered London Irish bound Scarlets and Llanelli outside-half Steven Shingler at half-back.

Pontypridd flanker Ed Siggery scored a first half try as Wales went into the interval 7-3 ahead.

In the second half further tries came from WillGriff John, Owen Williams, Eli Walker and Ieuan Davies.

The match was marred by the sending off of two players following a mass brawl towards the end of the game.

Scotland's Stuart Hogg and Wales's Luke Hamilton got their marching orders for their part in the incident.

In front of 1,372 fans, it is Wales' first win of their Six Nations campaign after last week’s unlucky 26-20 defeat to England at Parc y Scarlets.
