NEWPORT County will be denied a reunion with Charlie Henry tonight as the flying winger is grounded by a persistent foot injury, writes Andrew Penman.
Henry has not played a competitive game for the Hatters since signing on loan in November, before the move became permanent in January.
The 24-year-old has a broken bone in his foot and will not play again this season but he will be an interested observer tonight.
“It’s really frustrating having to watch from the sidelines,” said Henry. “Probably the most frustrating period of my career.
“But the lads are doing alright without me so far and hopefully Newport can turn things round as well, after this match.
“I think both clubs could still go up this season,” he added.“We haven’t given up on automatic promotion even though it’s in Crawley’s hands really.”
