NEWPORT will play Cross Keys at Pandy Park on Thursday for the final Welsh British and Irish Cup place after beating Tonmawr at Rodney Parade.
The Black and Ambers led 31-0 at the break thanks to tries by Andrew Brown, Elliot Wheaton, Owen Broad and Jon Evans.
However, the spirited Pitmen dominated the second half and were rewarded when wing Steff Andrews crossed in the corner.
