GLAMORGAN lost a thrilling t20 clash they let slip through their fingers in a dogfight that went into the last over against the Kent Spitfires at Cardiff's Swalec Stadium last night.
Glam set the visitors a competitive 154-5 with an excellent 47 from 31 balls by Aussie Mark Cosgrove as well as captain Alviro Petersen hitting 65.
And Kent were seriously floundering at 89-4 with just five overs left.
But a sublime stand by Sam Northeast (33no) and Wahab Riaz (32no) steered them home to an unlikely victory with just two balls left that puts a serious dent in Glam’s tournament hopes.
