WALES Under-20s head coach Richard Webster is putting a brave face on things after his side were annihilated 92-0 by New Zealand this week.
His men have a chance of redeeming themselves this evening when they take on IRB Junior World Championship hosts Italy in Treviso (kick-off 5.10pm).
And while former Swansea, Bath and Wales flanker Webster admitted his team were "blown apart" by the Baby Blacks on Tuesday, he emphasised the importance of soldiering on.
"We have to try and forget about the New Zealand loss for now, because with a four day turnaround between each match, there is no time to dwell on it.
"We showed we are not a bad team with our opening win over Argentina, and we are determined to show that again tomorrow, and in our two play-off games next week."
With a semi-final place depending on Wales hammering Italy and New Zealand losing to Argentina without achieving a losing bonus, their aim now is to finish fifth in the tournament, an improvement on recent showings.
"Wales finished seventh in this competition last season, and sixth the year before. With three good performances and results we can better that finish which is what we are focussed on doing now," he said.
"We beat Italy comfortably in the Six Nations with 14 men, but as hosts who have not yet won a game in this tournament, they will be determined to put in a good performance against us in front of a big home crowd."
Wales make ten changes and one positional reshuffle from the New Zealand horror show.
Matthew Morgan and Newport Gwent Dragons’ Jonathan Evans return at half back and Macauley Cook is back as captain.
Dragons squad member and Cross Keys back rower Jamie Sollis is on the bench.
