Wales Under 20s 56 - Italy Under 20s 6
WALES put their humiliating 92-0 defeat at the hands of New Zealand firmly behind them yesterday as they hammered hosts Italy in the IRB Junior World Championship.
Richard Webster's men scored eight tries, the pick of them was an outstanding one by centre Rheon James, reminiscent of Philippe Saint-André's famous touchdown for France against England in 1991.
No 10 Matthew Morgan was again superb, instrumental in James' try, and scoring 16 points through five conversions and two penalties in Treviso.
Wales now face Fiji on Wednesday in Padova as they aim to finish fifth in the competition along with the Fijians, South Africa and Ireland.
In the semi-finals, England play France while favourites New Zealand take on Australia.
