HACKNEY HAWKS 59 - NEWPORT HORNETS 35 National League With top-end rider Todd Kurtz required for Premier League duty with the Newport Wasps then the Hornets had to operate the rider replacement rule in the young Aussie's absence in their away fixture at Rye House Speedway in Hertfordshire last Saturday evening.
The only real resistance came from number one and captain Jay Herne with support from Matt Bates.
