SKIPPER Alviro Petersen has stressed that Glamorgan have not given up hope of making the knockout stages of the Clydesdale Bank 40.
The Dragons take on Essex in front of the Sky Sports cameras this evening in a must-win game.
Tonight’s hosts are in second place in the Group C table, two wins ahead of Glam at the halfway stage.
"We know that from here in it’s about winning every game, but by all means this season is not finished yet," said Petersen.
"I think it’s only just started really. It’s the business end of the season and now is when it really counts and where teams either win it or lose it.
"We’ve got a responsibility to ourselves and we’ve got an opportunity to go on a roll and play good cricket from here on."
