NEWPORT County were beaten for the first time in pre-season as Premier League Bolton Wanderers proved too strong at Spytty Park this afternoon.
Elliott Buchanan gave the Exiles the lead on 11 minutes before a Tom Miller own goal and two for Ivan Klasnic gave the Trotters the win.
But the match was overshadowed by a bad injury to Bolton's Chung Yung Lee, who was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital with a suspected double leg break after a challenge from Miller.
