CHRISTIAN Malcolm defended his national 200m title in Birmingham yesterday and secured his place in the World Championships.
The Newport sprinter produced a late burst to clock 20.85 and book a place on the plane to South Korea later this month.
Malcolm, whose season's best is 20.08 in the 200m, finished fourth in the 100m on Saturday.
