NEWPORT'S James Collins is one of three withdrawals from the Wales squad to face Australia in Cardiff on Wednesday night.
The Aston Villa centre-back has pulled out of the friendly with a back injury, while Andrew Crofts and Sam Vokes are both out with ankle knocks.
Wales boss Gary Speed has called up Owain Tudur Jones as a replacement.
Meanwhile, Speed's predecessor as permanent national boss John Toshack has been appointed manager of Macedonia.
The eastern European side are in the same qualifying group as Wales for the 2014 World cup.
