A HECTIC three-meetings-in-as-many days schedule finally caught up with Newport Mike Manning Audio Wasps as they slipped to a couple of heavy British Premier League defeat in Glasgow on Sunday.
The teams met at Newport’s Queensway Meadows Stadium on Friday night, when the Wasps eventually ran out 52-41 winners of battle between the Knockout Cup winners and the BPL champions.
However it all proved too much for the Wasps in Scotland as first Glasgow powered to a handsome 60-33 win before emerging 53-37 victors of the afternoon’s second clash.
