Fifteen year old Sam Galliers makes the journey with his dad for most home rugby matches at Rodney Parade, even though they have to travel from Cheltenham to do so. it is therefore just reward that he leads out the Black and Ambers at least once every season.
This time it was against local rivals, Cross Keys in the British Irish Cup. Sam braved the cold to meet his current hero, Owen Broad, before leading out the team with skipper Gethin Robinson.
