Thirteen year old Rhys Wilmot is a regular fixture behind the FoNR Table on matchdays where he does his bit with the fundraising. It is only right therefore, that Rhys who attends St.Julians High School, was given an opportunity to be the mascot when Newport entertained Aberavon.
First he met up with front row favourite Dai Pattison before leading out the team with skipper Andy Brown.
Unfortunately his inspiration was not enough to see Newport put together a winning performance for him.
