Daniel Sullivan is only four years old but still turned out on a chilly Friday night to do his bit, leading out the Black and Ambers. He even had brand new boots for the occasion and like most modern young players they were a fetching shade of blue.
Daniels family are Rodney Parade regulars, his grand parents are usually to be found in the Rodney Hall on matchdays and his mum was a ball girl for several seasons. It's great to see that the next generation of supporters are coming through. At only four years old, Daniel holds the record of youngest mascot ever.
Daniel who attends Duffryn Nursery School had a photo with James Leadbetter before kick off and then with his own glamourous assistant helped skipper Andy Brown lead out Newport as they took on tough opposition in Pontypridd.
The home team put in an impressive shift and lowered Ponty's colours in some sort of order.
