The Guard of Honour for the match between Newport and Connacht Eagles was provided by St.Josephs U11 RFC. This was the second appearance for St.Josephs and again the Black and Ambers came out victorious for them.
First the team took part in a skills session with the Trust Junior Coach Joe Crocker, ably assisted by Newport players Scott Sneddon and Owen Broad. they also received a bag of training balls for their own future use from the Trust Community Section.
At kick off, St Jospehs briefly occupied the Newport bench before providing the traditional Rodney Parade Guard of Honour for both teams as they took to the park.
