If you love Halloween, ghosts and ghouls then Cardiff Halloween Festival is definitely for you.
Located near Culverhouse Cross Cardiff, the festival is running until October 31st and is an unmissably haunting event.
The organisers have taken on feedback to make this year’s festival bigger and better than ever before.
Whether you want to test your nerves in the scare mazes or just want to enjoy a night out with friends and family, the festival has something for everyone.
From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave you will always have something to do.
The scare actors, in and outside of the mazes, gave unbelievable performances as clowns, psychiatric patients with no arms, corpse brides and much more, they are sure to keep you on the lookout all night.
They were so committed to their roles and, despite them wandering around from the minute we entered, it was impossible to get them to break character for even a second.
The actors really add to the terrifying atmosphere and help to create a truly memorable experience.
Don’t forget to bring your appetite, and your wallet, as there is an amazing variety of food options across the stalls, almost all of which offer generous portions of hot street food, as well as marshmallows to roast and Halloween sweet treats.
If the frights and thrills are too much, there is plenty of family friendly entertainment to be enjoyed.
The singing pumpkins, the corn maze, the fire shows, and the live band were all worth the money and will be loved by all ages.
Not to forget the pumpkin patch which is open all day for you to explore and pick up your own Halloween pumpkins to take home.
Emilie Allen Teague, 17, from Newport, who attended the festival on Friday October 25th said that:
“The live entertainment was fantastic; food was really great, and the actors were fully committed to their roles all creating a generally great night.”
Scare Fest is considered by many to be one of the best Halloween experiences in South Wales, that offers a great day or night out for friends and families.
A horrifyingly good event, which will become a Halloween family tradition for many years to come.
